In the Beginning

Whew!  This photography journey is tough but fun.  I have been trying out some of the techniques that I have been learning in my beginners photography course.  This is a photo that I took at a fair recently, using the panning technique.  

Yes, there is a lot of room for improvement, but I think I have a pretty good grasp of the concept....hmmmm at least the background is more blurry than my child's face and he was having fun.
